Our cruises will always have a degree of flexibility about them, to take into account guest needs and weather conditions

Our 4 main itineraries are listed below:

Itinerary One (applies to mild weather and wind)

CLIFFS AND CAVES CRUISE

Board at Callala Bay jetty at 10.00am

​

Cruise past the northern wilderness of Jervis Bay Marine National Park, past Red Rock to Bindigine Beach with a stop-off for exploring, swimming, snorkelling and drinks / snack break

​

Watch out for dolphins in this area, adjacent to Long Beach or often cavorting near the boat

​

Continue past unique Honeymoon Bay to Little Target Beach or Boat Harbour. Snorkelling and lunch

​

Watch out for sea lions sunning on the rocks or lazing / splashing in the water

​

Cruise to majestic cliffs of Point Perpendicular. Fantastic photo opportunities

 

Return along outward path, exploring this amazing coastline and potentially catching up with dolphins and other marine wildlife, as we return to Callala Bay jetty at a leisurely pace.

​

Whale migration begins around June, through July when they head north to warmer waters for calving and mating, then their southerly migration happens from September to November, when Humpback and other whales may be experienced.

Itinerary Two (applies to summer weather with potential for strong northerly winds, either by mid-morning or occasionally, all day)

OLD MAN AND THE SEA CRUISE

Board at Callala Bay jetty at 8.00am

Cruise past the northern wilderness of Jervis Bay Marine National Park, past Red Rock  to Bindigine Beach, unique Honeymoon Bay to Little Target Beach or Boat Harbour. Snorkelling and lunch

​

Watch out for dolphins cavorting near the boat and sea lions sunning on the rocks or lazing / splashing in the water

​

Cruise to majestic cliffs of Point Perpendicular. Fantastic photo opportunities

​

During migration, Humpback and other whales may be experienced

​

Return along outward path, exploring this amazing coastline and potentially catching up with dolphins and other marine wildlife, as we return via Red Rock, to Callala Bay jetty.

Itinerary Three (applies to all seasons weather with potential for strong westerly or southerly winds, predicted either during the day or all day)

RIDDLE OF THE SANDS CRUISE

Board at Woolamia Boat Ramp jetty at 10.00am

​

Cruise down Currumbene Creek past the historic township of Huskisson, turning south past the beautiful beaches of Vincentia, to the beach reputed to have the whitest sand in Australia, if not the World, unique Hyams Beach, where the combination of white sand and sparkling clear water provides for a stunning turquoise water colour that is so inviting for a swim or snorkelling. Snorkelling, swimming and lunch

Watch out for dolphins cavorting near the boat

​

If weather and time permits, we may cruise along the southern beaches of Jervis Bay, past the Navy training facility at HMAS Creswell, to Green Patch and Murrays Beaches. Murrays Beach is adjacent to the southern headland of the bay, Governor Head and the Little Penguin rookery on Bowen Island

​

Then a leisurely cruise back along western beaches, with opportunities for further swimming / snorkelling

​

Return along outward path, potentially catching up with dolphins and other marine wildlife, as we return via Currumbene Creek, to Woolamia Boat Ramp jetty.

Itinerary Four (applies to all seasons weather with strong winds that preclude cruising on the Bay)

GULLIVER'S TRAVELS

Board at Woolamia Boat Ramp jetty at tentatively 10.00am. This cruise is only available with a rising tide

​

Cruise down Currumbene Creek to the historic township of Huskisson, then turning northwards along the scenic creek, past many moored yachts and other boats of many styles and ages, into the wild areas of the creek.

​

There are no rivers that run into the bay. Currumbene Creek is the largest of several tidal creeks on the bay

​

Swimming, snorkelling and lunch

​

Watch out for diverse marine and bird life

​

Then a leisurely cruise back along our outward path, returning to Woolamia Boat Ramp jetty.
